We went through our own little “Carmageddon” Tuesday with traffic snarled on Lighthouse, Highway 68 and many of our residential streets. Wednesday seemed much better. Despite the great progress that has been made and that the contractor was ahead of schedule prior to rains this week, the City has decided to switch to night work. While this will be good news for the businesses along Lighthouse Avenue and for the motoring public, it will mean sleepless nights for the approximately 150 households living along Lighthouse Avenue. And as an association representing the interests of all of the residents, including those along Lighthouse Avenue and those of us who have had to deal with the traffic, this is a delicate balance.
