New Monterey residents are encouraged to participate and voice their opinions during NCIP meetings. This can be done in person or via Zoom. The schedule for NCIP meetings, criteria for project submissions,  and project nominations forms can be found at www.monterey.org/ncip. Agendas for NCIP and all City Council & Commission meetings can be found on www.isearchmonterey.org.

I encourage residents to show up and voice their approval or opposition to all projects submitted during the active project review cycle. Comments can be made in person, on Zoom, or emailed to the City via Tom Harty (harty@monterey.org). Comments from residents during the project review meetings make a HUGE difference on which projects are considered priorities and are rated more favorably.

If you have any project ideas or have any questions, please feel free to email me at newmontereyncip@gmail.com. We will also have some time allotted to review potential project submission during our Annual Meeting in January 2024.

Chinyere will answer all your NCIP questions at the annual meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 2023!
