On Thursday, October 17, 2024, New Monterey Neighborhood Association along with the League of Women Voters of Monterey County presented the Candidates Forum for Monterey Peninsula Water Management (MPWMD) District 3.
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, New Monterey Neighborhood Association along with the League of Women Voters of Monterey County presented the Pros and Cons of the 10 initiatives on the 2024 ballot to members of the New Monterey Neighborhood and other residents in the local area.
On Monday, January 29, 2024, New Monterey Neighborhood Association along with the League of Women Voters of Monterey County, the Old Town Neighborhood Association, and the Monte Vista Neighborhood Association held a 5th District Supervisor Candidate Forum: Kate Daniels, Alan Haffa, and Bill Lipe.
